Welcome!

Volunteers are very special at Turning Pointe.  Without our volunteers to groom, tack, and lead horses, to encourage our riders, and many other jobs, we wouldn’t be able to provide therapeutic riding to children and adults.

Volunteering at our therapeutic riding center gives you an opportunity to be outdoors, to provide joy and challenges to people with disabilities, and to meet other volunteers and to work as a team.  Our riders, in turn, provide many rewards for you-smiles, progress in their skill and enthusiasm from parents, care givers, and teachers.

Most services provided by our volunteers do not require special skills.  Turning Pointe will provide you with any training or guidance you may need.  Whatever job you do while at Turning Pointe, know that it is a valued part of our program.  If you find there are jobs that you prefer to others, please let us know; we will try to accommodate your wishes.
